Dr. Manar jabbar hussein is a Specialist in obstetrics and gynecology ( F.I.C.M.S) at Iraqi board degree in obstetrics and gynecology.
She has completed Master class in aesthetic gynecology from British Academy of Continuous Medical Education and M.B.Ch.B. in medicine and general surgery from Mosul medical collage.
Abstract:
Uterine fibroid are benign uterine tumors compressing smooth muscles, which are the most common benign tumor of female organs. Incidence in reproductive age according to ACOG 1994 was (20-25%) , and from (40-50 years ) was (51.2- 60%) . Treatment of fibroid in case of hemorrhage, pain, hypermenorrhea, etc. treatment include drug therapy , hystrectomy, direction of development micro-invasive and uterus reservation that include PT for ablation or deactivation , defection of laser and RF treatment, interventional treatment of uterine fibroids, uterine artery embolization, the modern treatment include haifu ( HIFU) therapeutic system, mechanism, clinical application, complication, contraindication, treatment frequency, preparation prior to treatment, management after HIFU therapy , post operative response, advantage reputation.
